Do you think that fitting a door is easy and any handy person can fit one, think again, it's not as easy to fit one as people think, when our Carpenters fit doors, the amount of times the customer is surprised how long it takes and how complicated it is, the fact is, fitting a door properly, is a job for a qualified Carpenter.
When fitting a door, it should fit snugly into the frame, without binding or snagging, the door should close without having to force it shut, there should also be a reasonable gap all around the door, in the event of it being a Fire Door, intumescent strips should be fitted, with 3 fire rated hinges, self closing door closer and the correct locks, that will pass all fire regulations and insurance regulations.
The Carpenters of North London locksmiths Ltd. make sure this happens, when fitting our doors they pass all regulations as required, as we are also a Locksmith Company the correct locks are fitted.
Not only do our London Carpenters undertake a Doors N11 fitting Service, but, will also repair frames when they have been damaged through a forced entry, or by other means, we will also supply and fit new locks whether they are fitted to wooden doors or UPVC Doors. Whereas our London Locksmiths will come and open locks, when keys have been lost or stolen or even left inside the home, we will also replace locks when you move into a new home or have to replace locks to upgrade your security or have keys stolen.
