 The Chubb 3G114 probably the most common 5 lever lock in England, now known as the Union 3G114.

The  3G114 range of locks are probably the most well known locks of the British Security market, it has the harden anti drill plates and the curtained bolt thrower, to prevent easy picking of the levers.

One of the problems for the average person who wants to replace this lock, is it is one of the only locks on the market, where the key hole is situated in a different position, than a standard deadlock.

This lock has been surpassed by the 3G114e Deadlock

The old Chubb deadlock has a smaller bolt and a smaller strike plate than the new  3G114e.

If you want a straight replacement for your older Chubb 3G114 lock, then you need this lock to replace it.

The Union 3G114 is probably one of the most common British Standard deadlocks on the market.

It has been around for a number of years and in different variations, from its clip on harden plates up to the present model, the hardened anti drill plate being on both sides and now fixed.

The 3G114e mortice deadlock offers excellent protection against all common forms of attack including force, drilling, manipulation and hacksaw. This 3g114 lock has a 20mm deadbolt . Tested and certified to BS3621: 2004 for Thief Resistant Locks, the 5 lever mechanism generates in excess of 1,000 key variations and is suitable for securing both domestic and industrial/commerical main entrance doors. Brass or Satin Chrome finish face and key plates. Supplied with 2 keys
